Oh and one more thing! If you do not happen to be familiar with the Spanish way of doing last names my tree might confuse you. In Spain, and other Spanish speaking countries except Argentina, a child inherits two last names. The first is their father’s and the second is their mother’s maiden name. So it looks like this: Uma Lee Barthelet McGreggor.
To elaborate: first name-Uma
middle name-Lee
father’s last name-Barthelet
mother’s maiden name-McGreggor.
To make a connection, this child in an English speaking country would be refered to as Uma Lee Barthelet. And in Spain, or any other Spanish speaking country, you’d find Uma Lee Barthelet McGreggor under Barthelet in the phone book; just as you would anywhere else.
And If that weren’t going against the grain enough there’s more; when a girl gets married it’s common for her not to change either of her last names instead she adds to them by placing a ‘de’ inbetween her name and her husbands FIRST last name. So it would look something like this: Uma Lee Barthelet McGreggor de Nelson.
